After a FF update today, FF notified me that my Flash player was out of date. While installing the new Flash, it asks me to close FF. I don't want to shut down and restart the computer. I just want to close FF long enough to complete installation of Flash. But I want to save the windows and tabs I have open so they come back when I restart FF. Not sure how I do that.

Go to TOOLS then OPTIONS then GENERAL then in WHEN FIREFOX STARTS session put SHOW MY WINDOWS AND TABS FROM LAST TIME. Don't forget to press OK to save it.

tell us if this work, thank you

Thanks. When I checked, it was already set to that option.

I actually don't have a clear answer if it worked. I had two windows open, each with multiple tabs. I closed one of the windows. The other window stayed pinned to the task bar. But I was able to finish the Flash install. I then unpinned FF from the taskbar and restarted FF. Only the second window with all the tabs restarted.

Anyway no big deal. I can recover the tabs of that other window from today's History.
