How do you enter a hypertext link in email
How do I create a hypertext link in my email to be sent?
Chosen solution
That is up to JavaScript that runs on that page if you want to have a link created as a clickable hypertext link automatically. Most sites only have that feature for IE and not for Firefox. On Hotmail it is not easy to do, but on Gmail you only have the select the link text and click the toolbar button.

Which email client are you using (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Windows Live Mail...)?
Many times, the hypertext link looks like a chain, or a chain with a globe. In some mail clients, ie. Yahoo, you have to be in Rich Text mode to hyperlink it.
Note that most mail clients will automatically hyperlink a link when you send it if it starts with http:// or www.
I am using MSN Hotmail or I also use Windows Live Mail. If I use IE or other browsers the hyperlink automatically shows up in the email that I wish to send. I am trying out Firefox and I have checked off using Rich Text, but the hyperlinks to not show. I sent the created email to another email account that I use and the link does not show up as hypertext but as text only.
Ok, the hyperlink button looks like a globe with a small chain infront of it.
Thanks, I finally found it. Good grief, I must be going blind, of course I am using 1920x1200 res. Looks like you physically have to tell Firefox to insert a hyperlink, it does not automatically detect your input. Thanks again.
