Most of the text on all pages is being displayed in dingbats since I tried switching to the latest version of Firefox. How can I fix this?

Other than headings, all the type on each page in the new version of the browser is showing up as illegible dingbats. (Leaves, symbols, etc.)

Thanks for your help. Following the suggestions in the second link helped in my case, what I did was deactivate all the dingbat & webding fonts from my font manager and voila, it worked. Legible type once more.
