In the header of the browser, there is an image of something that looks like an eagle coming out of a wave. Is there any way to get rid of this? It makes it very difficult for me to see my links.

Sounds that you installed a Persona.

You can uninstall your current Persona and revert to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
