Does FF7 support Windows 2000?

Where are the system requirements for FF7? The only ones I found were for FF5.

On my ancient work computer running Win2K, the 'Check for Updates' says it is up to date, even though I am running 6.02. Has Win2K support been dropped? I'm hesitant to run the stand-alone install.

Sorry, someone messed up when they updated that page. The download link does go to Firefox 7.0 regardless of how it is labeled. System Requirements haven't changed since Firefox 4.0 was released, at least as far as Windows PC's go, not sure about the other platforms. Windows 2000 SP4 is supported.

I just found out that the updater has been turned off due to problems with add-on updates waiting to be installed when the Firefox update is installed, and the updated extensions "disappearing" (or seeming to disappear). Installation of a new, different extension or reinstalling the missing extension fixes that problem.

The developers are working on a fix by way of a 7.0.1 release, but it's liable to be a few days before it can be tested and distributed.

Doesn't seem to be properly updated. It mentions FF6, and has a link to the FF6 download.

Thanks, makes some sense. I did get a popup about the update yesterday, so I was confused. I'm in no rush, and will wait until a proper fix is done. On my home computer (Vista), I had to kill the FF process to get the "auto" install to complete, so I guess there are issues.
