I am not sure cd s are supplied. May I enquire why this is necessary ? You appear to be writing from a computer with firefox 6 already installed, can you not use that to download the install file ?

Any computer you install firefox on would normally need to have internet before it would be much use with firefox, and if a Windows machine probably has IE available which should be able to download Firefox.

Post back with more information and I am sure someone will find a solution for you.

I am using a public computer at my local state university. My home comp. crashed and I have to reload everything - it formerly was on Netscape, so I havent used it in several years. For some reason my computer has had trouble downloading data, and I am always safer by using a preloaded cd. I did this before with Mozilla and ordered Netscape thru them in the Bay area for about $3 a few years ago. Thanx.

Firefox is a relativly small file. When installing on Windows XP it comes as a self installing file. Are you allowed to download files at the local university. (Or anywhere else, internet cafe, friends computer etc) You can then transfer the file onto any suitable media such as a memory stick or burn it on to a CD so that you can then transfer the install file to the home XP computer.

As far as I can see Mozilla do not seem to provide CDs anymore.
