having a lot of problems after upgrading to firefox 7. A lot of websites and links just not loading at all. eg googlemail. It seems to mainly affect secure pages https but not exclusively.
Pages still load fine in older version of firefox (5) so don't think its profile.
Have tried disabling plugins, reseting prefs.etc but no change.
Using mac 10.5.8. on mac pro. Have scanned for viruses etc.
Also unable to run profile manager from terminal just get the error dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022
Trace/BPT trap

Well this is looking like a show stopper unless there is a fix - currently have to resort to using safari as firefox is now unusable at the moment.
well noticed having knda similar problems on windows version (7.01) of firefox - having difficulty logging into sites especially ones that use lightbox style log ins like lovefilm.com
Problems for me too. Most of the time websites just aren't loading.
Google search box doesn't work either.
The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.
Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.
You can also try to disable IPv6.
Tried both of these still having problems loading pages - Checked IPv6 loading in two other browsers and works fine so re-enabled.
It definitely seems to be mainly with https sites - wont load at all - like google mail. All other browsers seem to be fine - tried switching to google dns and had no effect on firefox page loading problem. Wondering if this is an issue with leopard as my wife has snow leopard and firefox works fine.
I'm going to have to switch to another browser until I upgrade to snow leopard unless someone has any other ideas.
