Images/Objects created in iWeb 3.0.3 with shadows do NOT appear correctly in FireFox 7.0.1
I am creating a site in iWeb and objects that are shadowed appear accurately in Safari and Chrome (Mac) and IE (Win) but when viewed on FF (Mac) the objects have a square that is superimposed on the original object.
Please tell me Firefox has a quick and complete fix to this irritating issue!
iWeb3.0.3
Mac Safari 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) Chrome 14.0.835.202 Firefox 7.0.1

Can you post a link?
That used to be a bug in Firefox 5, but should have been fixed in Firefox 6 and later.
Hi Cor-el,
Thanks in advance for looking into this:

Works fine here on Linux with Firefox 7.0.1 on both those links.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Hi Core-el, Thanks for looking into this issue for me! Just to confirm, I attached the two objects in question that still appear on FF incorrectly. The objects are not suppose to have the white boxes underneath the blue and orange diamonds. Hopefully it's just me ; ) (it usually is) Thanks again!
OK, I see what you mean. I've compared it with Google Chrome and that looks different
That looks like this bug:
- bug 478459 - Shadows are not displayed correctly for images with transparency (used by iWeb)
Hello, i have just noticed that my site has the same problem.... http://www.matthiasguerin.com/Matthias_Guerin/Matthias_Guerin_-_Videaste_independant.html
There are grey shadows/outlines that have appeared around all images with a transparent background... The site works fine with chrome.
does anyone have an answer? thanks!
