Why do I constantly get "Firefox is not responding" way too often when on Facebook?

I'll be doing something on Facebook playing games and trying to go further down the page and it will take like a minute or two and a message will say at the top Facebook "not responding". This happens a lot and don't know if it is actually Firefox or Facebook that has the problem. But it just happened now when trying to type this message. Do I have a bug, hacker or virus? When I run a scan everything is fine. This is annoying as hell and I never had this problem with an older version of Firefox Mozilla.
