I no longer have the old tool bar at the top of my screen, and I have totally lost all my past passwords I've had for years. Is there a way to retrieve my PAST lost passwords?

It sounds like your passwords were stored by a Firefox add-on that was disabled when you updated Firefox. You can install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter to try re-enabling your add-on, which will hopefully restore your toolbar and saved passwords.

For more details, see: Re-enable add-ons that were disabled when updating Firefox
