I am new to large screen smartphones (previously blackberry) and I currently enjoy using Firefox as my default internet application.

I just downloaded Firefox on m parents PC and noticed that you have a Firefox mobile application available.

I have recently acquired a Droid Razr smartphone by Motorola and would like to use the Firefox application, do you kno when it will be available?

Thank you David Tobey Santa Cruz, CA

Chosen solution

If it is the new DROID Razr then it has 1GB RAM, a Texas Instruments OMAP4430 cpu which is 1.2 GHz and ARMv7.

It has Android 2.3.5 (Upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich(4.0))

By specs alone it looks like it is very capable in running mobile Firefox.

You can go to Android market and install Firefox 8.0 from there or if you prefer to install and update manually then see http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/8.0/android/multi/

Thanks James, it worked; this phone might be to recent to have made your Motorola installation list.
