How do I prevent lines of print overlapping in a vertical manner?

more options

Most websites, such as newspapers, experience an overlapping of characters, which prevent proper reading of the sites, or prevent access to sites which I would like to access. I recently starting using Firefox again, after experiencing problems with Chrome 16. This was the reason I switched from Firefox to Chrome in the first place. Chrome worked fine until vs. 16. Thanks
