Chosen solution

If you make the toolbars transparent, the desktop will bleed through. A properly made Persona should take that into account. Try a different Persona.

Has anyone heard of 'stylish.com'? Supposedy you can make the toolbars transparent (except the words, of course) and then when you put your cursor over it reappears...thus enabling you to enjoy all of your personas!

stylish.com is suppose to work, but I am not that computer savy...desktop not bleeds thru...just your persona becomes totally visable.

Do you mean something like this?

Add code to userChrome.css below the default @namespace line.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#navigator-toolbox * {opacity:0}
#navigator-toolbox:hover * {opacity:1}
