I've just upgraded to a 1080 widescreen monitor and Firefox toolbars (menu bar etc) and text is smaller and harder to read. What can I do to increase the size?

I've just purchased my first widescreen monitor (Samsung 23A350H) and noticed that many fonts and icons in various programs are smaller. This includes the menus at the top of the screen in Firefox, ie, Menu, Bookmarks and Navigation toolbars. It's the same with Outlook Express and some other programs.

Use this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface:

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.
