After upgrading to FF 11.0, I tried to logging into my bank accounts and getting this issue.

After upgrading to FF 11.0, I tried to loggin into my bank accounts, it's asking for additional info, not sure if its safe to provide this info ...as its asking for all the social details ..i have tried 3 different banks , same with all ...This problem isnt same with IE, bank sitess works fine on my IE

Hi gphandhar,

What do you mean that your bank is asking for "social details' in your question? If your bank is asking more questions after the upgrade, it could be that they see that you are using a different version of a browser than you normally do so they want to verify it is really you. It is not uncommon for them to ask for a pet's name, highschool attended, etc. Especially if you log in from a different computer that you don't normally use.

However, I think the absolute safest approach would be to call your bank and ask them if what you are seeing is indeed part of their security. You can never be too careful ;)

If it isn't your bank, your issue may be because you've been hit with some Malware.
