Website redirect overrides Firefox's redirect blocking.
Check out the redirect on this site. It blows past Firefox's redirect blocking. The bar drops down then goes right back up and off it goes to something else - probably would attempt to install some malware but I didn't let it get that far.
Looks like the rather annoying jerks are one step ahead, again.
Would be nice if such smart people would do constructive instead of destructive things.

Could you link to the problematic site?
See the system details list.
To which site are you redirected?
I'm not seeing any redirecting with that link.
The site it redirects to varies. Probably something with the advertising, I'm not using an ad blocker.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

I regularly scan for spyware and malware. I've been a computer user and fixer since 1983.
I just posted this site as a heads up note that something there was pushing past Firefoxe's redirect blocking, which has worked for me on every site that attempts it, except that one.
