I'm using lastest version of Mozilla Firefox, but why it doesn't bring back last session pages when it crashes/closes unexpedly? It did before version 10 and I haven't changed my options after updating to 10 to 11 to 12 to 13... Please tell me what I can do with my Mozilla

You said, My settings for firefox browsing history is that it is deleted after closing. You need to change that setting so that your browsing history is saved. See

See the Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows article for information about how the session restore feature works after a crash. Look under the Troubleshooting section to make sure your settings are correct.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox location bar (that's where you enter your website names) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.
  2. Copy the most recent report IDs that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your forum response.

Thanks in advance for your help!

More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.

P.S. I see that you have Flash 11.3 installed so this article may also help, if the crashes seem to happen after visiting websites with Flash content, such as YouTube:

Thanks for advices but I have read them throug and didn't find solution.

When firefox crashes, next time I open it up it doesn't open start page nor last session pages, it just opens empty tab.

Alice, I had this problem before flash 11.3 so it should be the cause of problem.

My settings for firefox browsing history is that it is deleted after closing and I think that probably is the cause, but why did it restored pages after crash in version 9? I haven't changed my settings Like I said in my first message this problem started after updating to version 10..

You're welcome for the help link I posted in my last reply. Thanks for letting me know that you fixed your settings and that you can open your last session now, after a crash. Since you haven't asked for any help with the crash itself, I'll mark it as the solution.

Try to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.
