When Java add-on is enabled my application running on FF 13 closing unexpectedly

more options

My application requires to open a page which has java applet in it. However, FF closing down unexpectedly while trying to open the applet. I've tried disabling the Java add-on and FF didn't close this time, but the applet showed blank.

Hi,

You can try clearing the cache and changing the Java settings in the Windows Control Panel Java control. If the problem persists please also check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can Reset Firefox on the old (previous) profile via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.
