iI've downloaded the latest version and installed it but I cant find it, when i try to re-install it says you need to reboot your system, even after a reboot

I think i've covered it in the above question except i went to uninstall it completely to then re-install it in control panel/programmes and features, this wouldnt work either

You shouldn't have to reboot your computer after you install Firefox. Where did you download it from?

Try downloading Firefox from www.getfirefox.com, then double-click it, and install Firefox. Then you should be able to run Firefox normally.
