When trying to log in to my work site: MyLowes.com, after entering my password and secret question answer, Firefox times out saying the site took too long. it only runs for about 15-20 seconds and then times out. the site usually only takes about 30-35 seconds at work.

You can set Firefox to allow more time for a script to work, from about:config.

  • dom.max_chrome_script_run_time - set to 30
  • dom.max_script_run_time - set to 20
