When I sign into my hotmail or yahoo accounts none of the "links" work. I cannot read my email, I cannot check folders other than page 1 of my inbox and I cannot change pages. I cannot even do a search for specific emails. It's as if all the links on the pages are disabled. I have no problem at all with my IE, but I like Firefox so much better. I don't want to make Firefox my default browser because my kids and husband share computers with me and they like IE better. This started as soon as I let Firefox update to the 14.1.... I am using Windows 7.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
