I unpacked the bzip package and Firefox runs without a hitch on Debian Linux. But for some reason, when I create a launcher icon from the "right click on Applications -> Edit Menu" GUI and try to start Firefox from that link, I get a "Permission denied" error.

When I create the launcher directly on the desktop via "right click -> Create Launcher" it works fine again.

Why is this?
