I use Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been using IE9 up until now. Firefox works fine except that I cannot see the text in the main drop-down menu or the favorites menu, i.e. it appears like a white font on a white background unless I hover the mouse over the sub-menu text. It I left mouse click on the text, the correct action follows.

You could try a theme that gives you better colours.

You could try to modify the colours for the menus from userChrome.css. This page would give you a clue on how to set the syntax, but the element names would have to be changed.

The name of the element for the bookmark menu in the bookmarks toolbar is #BMB, but I am not sure what it is for the menu part of the appmenu.
