I'm having two problems. I've removed and re-installed Mozilla but am still having the same issues.

I'm having two problems. I've removed and re-installed Mozilla but am still having the same issues. Even to ask this question I had to use Internet Explorer, not Mozilla, because the dropdown won't appear on your home page. Ok. The two problems. One, vids won't play, and two, the dropdowns won't appear. Which means I can't sign out of anything! Which is an issue to me - I don't like leaving my accounts open. Can you help? Pleeease? I'm desperate! I've done all I know to do! Kari

The first issue, may be a problem with Flash Player. You need to visit Filehippo and get a "NON-IE" version of Flash Player installed. Start there and reply if it doesn't work.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
