This issue is possibly caused by the Social Fixer extension.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
hello, the error message is usually caused by the social fixer addon & can be resolved by updating to the latest version available at http://socialfixer.com/blog/category/releasenotes/
wow, madperson, that really helps.....i have been battling with my computer all day and finally gave up and shut it down. i will do this immediately. thanks ever so much.
