I have this problem where sometimes, when trying to use the Back button to return to pages that once would have given a 'do you want to resend data' message when I returned, nothing happens at all. I don't get a message and I'm not sent back to the page automatically. I have to go back and resend the data manually, which is a pain.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are there other entries in the tab history menu that opens if you hold down the left mouse button on the Back toolbar button that you can go to?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Thanks, problem is fixed now! It was an extension. Funnily enough, it was an extension I didn't really want anymore anyway. Funny how these things turn out.

You're welcome.

Can you tell us which extension caused your problem?
