Display device: MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk Display driver: 310.70 Intel 2500-K 8GB of 1600Mhz Ram Windows 7 64-bit

When using Firefox 17 and any Direct3D game, switching to full screen shows stuttering and not smooth anymore. This started occurring since Firefox 16 and that is about the same time I updated my video drivers to 306 i believe. I do not believe this is due to only the graphics drivers as on the same setup, I can play full screen with Chrome (latest) and IE9. This issue occurs when using a regular 3D game or a Unity based game, and only in Firefox. I have tried disabling all my plugins and hardware acceleration to no avail. Since this issue has occurred I have updated to 310 drivers and Firefox 17; the issue is still present only in Firefox. Any suggestions would be great!

Oh, and Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Can you give an example website where this happens? Have you tried a fresh profile? Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles

Here is some further information which may be related. I use the portable version of firefox and chrome from portableapps.com. When upgrading versions, I ensure to completely remove any leftover files in the Appdata user folder (windows 7). There is no profile information left as the portable version of the browser saves nothing else.

This issue occurs using BSGO (us.battlestar-galactica.bigpoint.com) or Last Stand: Dead Zone (http://www.kongregate.com/games/ConArtists/the-last-stand-dead-zone). Both of these games are 3D games and this occurs for any 3D rendering the browser does.

I can definetly install the full version of Firefox, if you think that is what is causing the issue.
