I have an annimated gif as an avatar on birdforum.net that I can see on IE, but not on Firefox.

When I changed my still image to an animated gif I created I can see it on Birdforum.net on Internet Explorer (default browser) but on Firefox I don't see the new avatar. Why not?

Check the setting in about:config.

image.animation_mode - should be normal to see animation
