I've the latest FF 19.02, it works over all versions since years, but from today all work with the www is "disabled". Use Win XP SP3, Avira, Win internal Firewall. Proxy is disabled as usual and web works fine (now using opera). Even save mode stopps. Any idea? many thanks U.

I'm back again and happy ;-))

Seem that an other background firewall (nv firewall) had blocked FF - why ever.
Many thanks to madperson and cor-el

doesn't fix the problem, did a reset of FF, complete new download and new install and also remove and add again the Mozilla inside the firewall *mad*. U.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Thanks, I will try the safe mode as soon I've got a legacy keyboard which support the modes before Win starts. (for me its Shift-F8 or F20) U.
