I've done everything I can find in the support section and every time I open a new tab, I get searchnu. Every time I use the url bar to search, it uses searchnu. I have the search bar changed to google, but ti doesn't work. I've gon einto about:config I don't know how many times and changed the keyword url and when I start up firefox again, it changes back to searchnu. It's nowhere in my control panel and it's not in my add-ons or extensions. It's also showing up in my browser.startup.homepage It just keeps resetting and I'm about to uninstall firefox altogether.

i am also a victim of searchnu. It takes over my IE homepage somehow, but i even did not even install anything last month. Luckily i get rid of this nasty browser hijacker with the help of a searchnu removal tutorial:http://www.virus-delete.com/en/guides/browser-hijacker-removal/how-to-remove-searchnucom-through-isafe-virus-removal-tool.html So l would like to share it here to see if it helps^^

BUt i still can not figure it out that how did delta homes virus appear on my laptop even i did not install anything before?

Ok, FINALLY. I have this fixed. I had to use the first link (/questions/816181) and go to my Program Files to find a folder called Search Results Toolbar that had Datamngr in it. Delete that, then restart firefox. Thank you.
