I was trying the Aurora version of Firefox and would like to switch back to the release version. I've tried changing the value in app.update.channel in about:config and the channel-prefs.js file. The version will still not change. And yes, I've restarted my browser.

Chosen solution

You can't change the update channel by changing the app.update.channel pref.

The best (and only valid) way to do this is to install the full version.

You can find the latest Firefox 20.0.x release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
