Is there an issue with java and FireFox? Both are up to date. I ask because I am having trouble viewing a IP camera controls. You can move the camera up and down and to the sides using java controls yet when I view the camera from FIreFox I do not get the controls. If I view it from Chrome or IE it works. I've also tried on several computers both XP and Win7 and its the same thing FireFox just will not display the controls. I've also made sure that java is not being blocked either.

I do not know what firmware version you have installed on the cam, but here are the release notes on the Cisco site - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/csbvsc/wvc200_wvc210/release/notes/Release_Notes_WVC210.pdf

Second bullet item under "Compatibility":

Accessing the Cisco WVC210 camera from a Safari or a Firefox browser has limited support. When using the interactive icons on the main/home page your control is limited due to ActiveX components that do not function with these browsers.

ActiveX is a Windows component originally designed solely applicable to IE. Firefox does not use ActiveX. There are some ActiveX plugins for Firefox on the internet, but there may be security issues related to those plugins. You may find your best results with the cam by using IE to access and control it.

Other - Check your Plugins and update as needed.

I updated the firmware version to the newest one in an attempt to fix the problem but I am still having the same issue. The controls for the camera did work before the newest update for FireFox.

From what I have found on the Cisco website, it appears that the WVC210 is best supported by Internet Explorer. You can read the following, read the posts on the Cisco forum, and/or post on the Cisco forum. This is not an issue with Firefox, but appears to be with the design of the cam and, if so, only Cisco can help you. If they are no longer updating their firmware, then they are not keeping stride with changes in browsers.

In addition, at the bottom of the PDF in my first reply to you, under "Related Information", there is a link to "Phone Support Contacts" leading to this page on the Cisco site - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/support/tsd_cisco_small_business_support_center_contacts.html
