I want to use a spreadsheet to create a list of folders and subfolders to organize bookmarks.
I manage a large amount of data and a large number of topics. I want to use a spreadsheet to set up a tree structure for my bookmarks and then import it into ff book marks. For example
Hardware
printers monitors keyboards
So that, in the spreadsheet, "hardware" would be in column A and "printers", "monitors" and "keyboards" would be in column B. Can this be done? or using some other kind of program or add in?

Firefox bookmarks are in an SQLlte database file named places.sqlite.
Are you capable of programming SQLIte?

My suggestion is to use Tags to organize your bookmarks inn that manner.
