I am having a problem with popups. I have gone to tools, options, etc. to try to resolve this problem with no success. The popup windows have a Mozilla icon on the page which is why I am contacting you for your help with resolving this problem. Thanks!

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

You can also try this.

I went into the task manager thru AVG PC tuneup (paid app) and found Severe weather alert. It is not in the registry. Stop it, right click to go to the containing folder and shift delete it. Do the same thing to conduit, whose folder is in the same directory.
