I would like to show my FF bookmarks as my homepage. I tried installing an add-on, but it says it's not compatible with FF 22.0. Is there a workaround that will allow this?

Chosen solution

You can consider to open the Library or the bookmarks as they appear in the sidebar as your home page.

  • chrome://browser/content/bookmarks/bookmarksPanel.xul
  • chrome://browser/content/places/places.xul

There is not. You can keep looking for add-ons, but I don't know of any that do this functionality.

Which extension are you trying to install?

You can consider the Bookmarks Menu button to access the bookmarks or open the Bookmarks sidebar.

  • Toggle the Bookmarks sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebar > Bookmarks" or Ctrl+B (Command+B on Mac)
  • Toggle the History sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebar > History" or Ctrl+H (Command+H on Mac)

Thanks for the reply. I was pretty sure there was none, but I needed to ask in case I missed something. I think it would be a great enhancement to FF. I know IE used to do this but it's been so long since I've used IE I'm not sure if it does anymore or not. Thanks again.

Yeah, the sidebar is not what I'm looking for, I want to goto my bookmarks when I click the Homepage Icon. Thanks for the reply.
