Please update to Firefox 22 Update Firefox to the latest release, and Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Also, you should update to Windows XP SP3 for the best performance and security updates.

use the search reset tool and delete a possible user.js file in your profile folder
