Hi jmatacola, Firefox 23 will be officially released next week, so I think the beta is pretty close to final at this point. I wouldn't switch to Firefox 22 at this point.

You are using a beta version of Firefox. These versions are not meant for regular use, but instead for testing and development purposes.

Note that you need 32 bit versions of plugins for a 32 bit Firefox version.

You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page.

You can find the latest Java version on the Oracle website.

I don't think NoScript is the problem. You can configure NoScript so that its "S" icon is always available on a convenient toolbar (I keep it on the Add-on bar at the bottom). Then you can review the domains from which the scripts originate and approve them if you trust them. Getting your favorite sites approved takes several extra seconds on the first visit, but I think the benefits are worth it.

Note that if you install a beta version then you switch to the beta release channel that gets one or two updates each week. So do not forget to install the full 23 release version once it get released next Tuesday.
