Hello people

On Firefox for android, there isn't any search tools option, as there is on other browsers. Meaning, there is not any options to specify the time (last hour, last 24 hours, last week, last month, etc), or most visited sites. Nor are there any options in google images, to specify which type, size or time. This is a important feature for me, and I would guess for many others too and I dont understand why Mozilla have chosen to not include such a basic feature in their browser.

I have tried a add-on called "Phoney", which changes the user agent on the browser, but it isn't that good, nor useful. And I know there is "advanced search" in the buttom of the page, but it's really not the same.

Besides that, (and the layout of google images), Firefox for android is near damn perfect. I really love this browser, but dont want to change browsers, every time I have to specify my search for a specific time. If any of you could help, I would be very grateful!

Hello,

Unfortunately we have no control over what features Google chooses to make available on their website. Trying Phoney was a good idea but from what you have said they must be using a different method (i.e. not user agent sniffing) to detect Firefox users and to serve up a different version of the google page.

I suggest getting in touch with google to ask why they are displaying a different version of their website to you. All we can hope is that they will change it as the user base of Firefox for Android increases.

I hope that helps.
