I am running firefox 20.x on a mac with Mountain Lion. ML allows for setting application shortcut keys. I tried to set command-E to email a link. When I set the shortcut key in mac preferences the menu correctly shows command-E for emailing a link. When I hit command-E the File menu item flashes but nothing happens. Does mac custom application shortcut keys work with firefox?

thanks john

Hello coltrane58,

Sorry but no, mac custom application shortcut keys does no work with firefox, see the Firefox Keyboard shortcuts (probably you already known), check if the Customizable Shortcuts add-on do what you need for your mac.

thank you
