How to restore session without my browser crashing?
Hi there. When I open up my browser, It's set to resume my previous session through session restore. But every time I try to click open my old session, Firefox crashes. It's done this over three times, and I'm pretty reluctant to delete my old session completely. Please help?

Do you get the about:sessionrestore page with check boxes to select which tabs to reopen?
Then you can remove the check-marks on tabs that might possibly causing the crashes.
You can set the Integer pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first start after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
- You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website, or open the crash reports page via "Help > Troubleshooting Information".

After it crashes, it has told me about 3 times that I the report I sent off that contains the data, does not send. And even when I uncheck all of the boxes sometimes it doesn't restore either. :(
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
