I'll be playing a game (most of the time) and I get an alert (sound) and then a small window of the Google (like a home page) pops up in the bottom right side of my screen. Sometime I succeed in deleting it, other times, escape works. This is a recent problem, didn't have it before.

Note: I recently downloaded "CC Cleaner" "Periform".

Hi,

I have a distinct feeling this problem is caused by malware.

Please restart your PC, and keep tapping F8 as soon as any screen comes up (i.e. before the Windows Vista loading screen appears). When an Advanced Boot Options screen comes up, use the arrow keys to navigate to Safe Mode with Networking. Then proceed to download and run the following tools:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to me!

Hope this helps!

Curtis
