Disable automatic RSS/Web Feed Processing

Hi,

I would like to load the RSS Feed-xml to render as plain xml. It should not render with any new stylesheet. Is there any possible way in firefox to disable this feature. I have tried playing with the "feed" search options in "about:config", but it was of no use. Can you please let me know how can I achieve this functionality?

Please update to the current Firefox 24 release.

The Firefox version that you currently run is no longer supported with security updates.

  • It is important to update Firefox and add-ons to the latest version to get all security fixes.

You can find the full version of the latest Firefox 24.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Probably the only way to achieve this would be to prefix the feed URL with the view-source: protocol to make Firefox show the XML page source.
