Firefox addon used to remember where files were stored for each web site, but I can't remember what it was.
Firefox (on laptop that died) used to remember where to save files from a given website (probably an addon I downloded), but I don't now what add it was. Does anyone else enjoy this feature? What addon adds this functionality?

See e.g. Download Sort:

Current Firefox versions remember the download directory based upon the URL.

hello ttarr, this is a feature that is already built into the default browser configuration...
Thanks for your reply. As of now, its not working. How do I configure it?
please make sure that you don't run firefox in permanent private browsing mode ("never remember history") in the options panel or select to "clear site preferences" at application shutdown.

Thanks everyone for your help. Thanks specifically to cor-el for the LastDir setting. That solved the problem. Firefox now remembers LastDir on a per site basis.
