After installing the LastPass addon I could not autofill username and password for any site. So, I finally removed it. Even though now after installing and uninstalling whole firefox browser from system and cleaning AppData folder and profile folder and even reseting before that didn't resolved my issue.

Even though usernames and passwords are saved on every website firefox not auto filling any of them. Even after typing or selecting username it didn't. Also, not multiple usernames saved for same website in my case.

Lastpass removed my review from their page as I wrote truth. So, firefox should send the mail copy for which we wrote a review also.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
