Whatever it is, its not from mozilla, and likely is malware waiting to happen.
Check for malware with all programs below.
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
WOW! Thank u!!! Very helpful. Never had a 'problem,' but looks like I REALLY could have! Please tell me though, what is it exactly - and how do they have permission to so prominently display the famous: 'Fire-Fox Emblem?'
No rush. Should this 'site' be reported?
Thank u!
Charlie :-)

Thank you so very very very much! Have a super day and weekend!!!! All the best...Charlie :-)
I have this problem too. I note that while tab is loading, I get a reference in lower left or right corner of screen to a site *.trustism.net or *.turstism.net, where * is the site I am currently viewing.
Maybe you can write a bug report at bugzilla, but I can't. Even tho I changed my password, it will not accept the new one.
