Hello! Well, what happens is the following: I'm browsing the web with the Firefox app, when during loading a website the screen goes black, only showing the address bar and the + (tab) button. It doesn't matter if I try to change the tab; everyone of them is black. Minimizing and reopening also doesn't make any difference. Only quitting the app solves the problem, which makes me reload every tab again. It's pretty much random, and I haven't seen any pattern so far.

I'm running on a Motorola Atrix 4G, on Wi-fi and standart 2.3.6 Gingerbread, no root or mod. I reseted the phone a few days ago but it didn't fix my problem. Thanks for any help!

Well, I'm pretty sure that I've tried it before, but it happens that I have recently soft reseted the phone, which already uninstalls everything and erases every config file.

Hello VictorOM, Do you have any add-ons on your FF app? IF you do uninstall them. If you don't then try completely turn off your phone/tablet, and reinstall the app. Hope this helps!

How to remove add-ons: In order to uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please do the following:

  1. From the Firefox window click the Firefox button at the top left and select Add-ons, or, if the Firefox button is not shown, click the Tools menu and click Add-ons.
  2. Once the Add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the Extensions button on the left side of the window.
  3. You should now see a list of your installed extensions on the right side together with buttons on the right side of each extension.
  4. To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click the Remove button. You should see a message that informs you about the successful removal of the add-on.
  5. Note that some add-ons require a Firefox restart to be removed completely. To perform a Firefox restart after the add-on removal, click the Restart now link in the message
