i use yahoo for email and lately when i'm ready to send mail i place the vertical cursor at the first misspelled word and correct the spelling. but when i press the right arrow key the curse will not move smoothly it skips. i know it is this computer as my other computer do not do this. i have ver. 26 running here wife has ver. 17 and ? on other machines but they are not the latest. one is ver 3 still and ? on the last one. so can anyone tell me why this is happening. it is annoying as the dickens. it doesn't do this in any other programs of fields like this bos it works good. only yahoo. but i use yahoo on all the others and no problems there at all thanks bob p

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
