Actually, the developer has a new version that is awaiting review. If you want to install it now before the Add-ons site admins finish checking it, you can find it on the "Versions" page here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/foxtab/versions/

According to posts on the FoxTab Facebook page, there is a problem with Flash player version 12. https://www.facebook.com/foxtab

I'm not sure whether there is a fix for that, but if the developer is responsive there, it might be a good place to find out more.

If necessary, you probably could go back to Flash player version 11 as a workaround. In order to install it, you probably need to go through the hassle of removing Flash 12.

Adobe's uninstall page is here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

A link to Flash 11.7 (the release in the 11 series that is going to be kept up-to-date going forward) is here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp11

hi I'm new on the site signed up today, about the new Firefox update version 26 yes it prevents FoxTab working i use a dell T3500 with windows XP x64 Edition i currently use Firefox version 24 and have disabled updates because 24 is working without any problems, I had tried version 26 but like you guy's found it incompatible with FoxTab also the latest Shockwave Flash update does the same thing even on version 24, lucky for me I use Acronis and replaced my image to a working system, why they keep updating so offen without getting all the bugs out i don't know! lol if it works leave it be!!, I hate Microsoft windows and never use it' because its so full of holes and there's always tons of updates to it!. it's crap but that's my opinion

Hi yelrats, the "regular" release of version 24 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release.

There is an extended support release of Firefox 24 that is getting security updates, which is intended for businesses that require the same version for an extended period of time. If you want to keep using Firefox 24, you should consider switching to the ESR release and turning updates back on. You can read more about it here: http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/

Regarding Flash, going forward for a while, Adobe will be keeping Flash 11.7 patched with security updates, but in order to get that version, you probably need to rip out all of the Flash you already have. You can read more about the 11.7 extended support release here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp11.7

Hi jscher thanks for you're response, I know about the extended support release for version 24, and although it fixes the security flaws in the older version there will always be security issues and i understand for businesses this would be a Concern' I am security mad on my system I do not allow cookies to be saved from sites I visit! only those sites I use and trust are allowed to save cookies, all others are deleted when browser is closed, I also use ABP which is very good and Ghostery to block all those trackers my system has never been hacked or attacked so i guess until something or somebody messes around with my system I will keep it as is, i'll say 99.999% secure *._.* regards yelrats posted time is 8:43pm united kingdom time.
