Cannot Log in to B of A web with Firefox. Chrome and I work
I cannot get into Bank of America Website with Firefox 26.0. Everything works fine with Chrome of IE. So the issue is with one of 3 browsers on my computer. Windows 7 Home OS
Chosen solution
Invisiblehand add on appears to be the issue. Saw this problem on http://sitedown.co/bank-of-america. Others had it and that solution is working.

Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.
This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).
There is usually no need to clear all cookies as this will remove cookies from websites that you would like to keep.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
Done that and no help. Sitedown.co shows many people with the same problem yesterday and today. IE and chrome no issue for them or me, but Firefox will not let me log in
You can check if there is shield icon to the left of the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar that mixed active content is blocked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
