I have Firefox 26.0 installed on my PC. I use myYahoo as my home page. Included on the home page, I have a weather section and a news section. When I try to use the "current location" feature in either of the sections, I get "browser denied permission to get your current location". How do I allow my current location to be used?

You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains including "Share Location" (Access Your Location) on the about:permissions page or for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar
  • Click "More Information" to open "Page Info > Security"
  • Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

Delete the permissions.sqlite file to reset all permissions.
